Attached images shows setup details for popular email software.

1. First create your new email address at www.yourdomain.co.za.
2. Setup the email address in your email software e.g. Windows Mail.

Instructions to setup a new email account:
Outlook Express or Windows Mail: Top menu: Tools, Accounts, Add, Mail
Microsoft Outlook: Tools, Account Settings, New

Enter your email and Select Next
Enter your email again and Select Next
My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.

Incoming mail: mail.yourdomain
Outgoing mail: mail.yourdomain

If you use certain Internet Service Providers e.g. USB Modems from Vodacom etc, you may need to use e.g. smtp.vodacom.co.za. See notes below for Outgoing mail settings for non ADSL users.

Select Next

Account name: (Your new email address) Password: Tick Remember password

Click on the More Settings button, select the Outgoing Server tab, and tick "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".

Select Finish

When copying above passwords note that a space is sometimes added after the word when copying and pasting, which results in a login error. It if happens first paste it in Notepad and copy from there.

Your Outgoing (SMTP) Server is used for sending emails. Your internet service provider (ISP) will supply you with the server name.

Here is a list of the most common Outgoing servers:

For Telkom ADSL, outgoing server is smtp.dsl.telkomsa.net or smtp.saix.net
For Telkom Analogue Dial Up, use smtp.saix.net or smtp.dsl.telkomsa.net
For 8TA (Eita), the outgoing server is smtp.saix.net
For MWEB ADSL, outgoing server is smtp.mweb.co.za or smtp.mweb.net

For Vodacom 3G, outgoing server is smtp.vodacom.co.za
For MTN 3G, the outgoing server is mail.mtn.co.za
For Cell C the outgoing server is mail.cmobile.co.za

For Iburst, outgoing server is smtp.iburst.co.za
For I.S. ADSL the outgoing server is smtp.isdsl.net
For I.S. 3G the outgoing server is smtp.isgsm.netor smtp.dial-up.net
For goggaconnect outgoing server is smtp.vodacom.co.za

For Neotel, outgoing server is smtp.neomail.co.za
For ABSA, outgoing server is smtp.absamail.co.za or mail.absa.co.za
